HYDRAULIC CASING RUNNING TOOL HCRTi V2 730 Ton
The HCRTiV2 730 TON is designed to function in Casing Drilling and Casing Running operations with any Top Drive. This equipment allows to torque, alternate, rotate, fill up, circulate and cementing, which reduces operating times and associated costs as well as increasing the safety of the personnel.
It is activated by a hydraulic system that is operated by a specialized technician, who is in charge of positioning the casing and operate the tool so that the driller applies the torque,r educing in that way the need for third-party help during the operation. It is a hydraulic equipment that activates and expands inside the casing wall providing a strong grip along the inner diameter of the joint, which guarantees a bigger gripping surface for the torque and tension of the string.
Applies torque of 100,000 lb-ft without the need to apply load to the string.
The HCRTiV2 730 ton has a safety valve that keep pressure inside the actuator when it is activated, even if the HPUe or the Service Loop fails the safety valve maintains the pressure inside the actuator.
The slips have a groove in their bottom end to put a spring in. It ensures that the slip remains stuck to the mandrel, avoiding unwanted strains when they go into the casing.
The HCRTiv2 730 Ton is equipped with Slips Jaw. These can be used for any diameter larger than 9 5/8” - 36” to mandrel 9 5/8" 730 Ton, by only changing the dies which are very easy to remove, taking no more than five minutes to change them all.
System of double O-ring plus packer cup. It aligns the HCRTiv2 730 Ton with the casing before the slips get in. It avoids collisions and strains in the surface of the slips.
